POLICE Day was celebrated on Friday. And it is a wonderful testimony to our men in blue that the front-page story featured in The Star on that day was headlined, “15 terror suspects nabbed”.
What a relief. We have seen in recent times how the Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division has stayed one step ahead of the terrorists, particularly from the Islamic State group, and prevented what could have been a potential disaster on our home territory.
