Competition good for rail services


FOR many decades, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) has been the only one running passenger and freight trains throughout Peninsu­lar Malaysia, with the exception of Terengganu.

It is hard to imagine anybody else offering these intercity rail services here, but we should get used to that idea.
