A LETTER published in the Letters Page last week began with these words, “Our lifestyle in the city these days is filled with fear and insecurity, so much so that many would-be Good Samaritans are afraid to help those in need for fear of being harmed.”

The writer then went on to describe how two good men, Fadzlin and Edward, came to him in his hour of need when he was badly injured in an accident somewhere near Kota Kemuning in Shah Alam.
