Now is the time to be heard

THIS general election will see a huge number of first-time voters but at the same time, it is worrying to note that some 3.6 million Malay­sians who are above the age of 21 have yet to register to vote.

This is a huge number, even though Election Commission (EC) figures indicate that almost 15 million people will be eligible to vote in GE14, including 1.5 million new voters.
