We have had first-hand experience of sympathy and practical aid for flood victims from people of all races and creeds.

IRONICALLY, it has taken a crisis to bring out the best in Malaysians. The worst floods in the nation’s history have brought much suffering and misery to some 200,000 people, particularly in the east coast.

Yet these very same floods have also resulted in a huge outpouring of sympathy and aid from the ordinary man in the street.
