NEWS that convicted serial rapist Selva Kumar Subbiah (pic) is now living as a free man in Klang Valley had many crying foul. While our Inspector-General of Police assured the public that Selva Kumar has agreed to be monitored by the police, the general sentiment is still anxiety, fear and, to some extent, stigma.

The fact stands that Selva Kumar is now a free man. He was convicted in Canada, served his sentence and has now been deported back to the country where he holds citizenship; that is, Malaysia.
