Foreign ministers reach consensus for various issues including South China Sea

PETALING JAYA: With talk that Asean is deeply divided on how to deal with China’s activities in the disputed South China Sea area, the region’s 10 foreign ministers finally reached a consensus to issue a joint communique in Laos which, among others, addressed the hotly contested maritime area.
