Roast duck is afavourite duringfestivities. Beforeindulging, though, keep in mind thatroast duck is high incalories, cholesteroland salt content.

Roast duck with crispy skin or duck braised in soy sauce, herbal or salted vegetable (ham choy) styles, are all popular dishes for Chinese New Year reunion dinners and other festive celebrations. Is duck considered red or white meat? Red meat has been getting a lot of bad publicity nowadays as it’s often linked with over-consumption and heart disease, atherosclerosis and even some types of cancer.
