Dairy farmers struggling to make ends meet


SMALL Indian dairy farmers are struggling to recover from the economic slowdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Makkal Osai reported.K. Saravanan, who operates a cattle farm with his two brothers in Sepang, Selangor, said demand for milk had dropped drastically.

His farm in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi has 60 cows and used to supply milk to retailers and eateries.
