"Avatar: Fire and Ash" tops North American box office for 4th consecutive weekend

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Disney and 20th Century's epic science fiction film "Avatar: Fire and Ash" easily maintained its reign in North America, adding 21.3 million U.S. dollars during its fourth weekend of release, figures from the measurement firm Comscore showed on Sunday.

The third installment in James Cameron's Avatar franchise has earned 342.6 million dollars in North America and 1.23 billion dollars worldwide.
