Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for February delivery lost 3 cents, or 0.05 percent, to settle at 58.35 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for February delivery dropped 14 cents, or 0.22 percent, to settle at 62.24 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
