PARIS, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com said Tuesday evening that its warehouse in the Seine-Saint-Denis department north of Paris, which was burglarized in the early hours of Monday, has resumed normal operations.

It said that local police have launched an investigation into the incident and dismissed media reports of "significant losses" as inaccurate.

Local media, citing police sources, reported that the burglars disabled the site's video surveillance system and that the alarm was not functioning at the time of the break-in. The stolen items reportedly included mainly smartphones, computers and tablets, as well as audio headsets.

JD.com said it currently operates more than 130 overseas warehouses in 23 countries and regions worldwide.
