6.0-magnitude quake hits Western Caroline Islands, Micronesia -- GFZ


HONG KONG, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted Western Caroline Islands, Micronesia at 11:11 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 7.24 degrees north latitude and 141.58 degrees east longitude.
