Rick Davies, Supertramp co-founder and singer, dies at 81

LONDON (Reuters) -Rick Davies, the Supertramp vocalist and songwriter behind some of the British rock band's best known hits such as "Goodbye Stranger" and "My Kind Of Lady," has died at the age of 81, the band said on Monday.

Davies passed away on Saturday after a more than a decade-long battle with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.
