NEW YORK, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended lower on Friday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 220.43 points, or 0.48 percent, to 45,400.86. The S&P 500 sank 20.58 points, or 0.32 percent, to 6,481.5. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 7.31 points, or 0.03 percent, to close at 21,700.39.
