Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery slipped 1.62 U.S. dollars, or 2.47 percent, to settle at 63.97 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery dropped 1.54 dollars, or 2.23 percent, to settle at 67.60 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
