Russian shelling kills three in southeastern Ukrainian town of Nikopol, governor says

(Reuters) -Russian artillery shelling killed three people and injured four on Wednesday in the southeastern Ukrainian town of Nikopol, the regional governor said.

Serhiy Lysak, governor of Dnipropetrovsk region, said two men and a woman died in the attack. Nikopol, lying on the Ukrainian-held north side of the Dnipro River in the region, frequently comes under Russian attack.
