Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for August delivery dropped 99 cents, or 1.47 percent, to settle at 66.21 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for September delivery lost 62 cents, or 0.9 percent, to settle at 68.59 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
