Canadian exports to U.S. continue to drop in May

OTTAWA, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Canadian exports to the United States continued to drop in May, while exports to other countries reached a record high, Statistics Canada said on Thursday.

Amid the recent implementation of tariffs on imports of Canadian goods in the United States, Canada's exports to the United States decreased 0.9 percent in May, a fourth consecutive monthly decline, said the national statistical agency.
