Weekly storage of natural gas in U.S. increases: EIA

HOUSTON, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Working gas storage in the contiguous United States was 2,707 billion cubic feet in the week ending June 6, a net increase of 109 billion cubic feet from the previous week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Thursday in a report.

The total working gas storage declined by 8.6 percent from this time last year, but up by 5.4 percent from the five-year average, according to the EIA's Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report.
