1 missing after ship capsizes near U.S. Pacific Northwest coast

SAN FRANCISCO, May 9 (Xinhua) -- One person was missing after a ship capsized near Grays Harbor County's Westport, U.S. Washington state, according to the United States Coast Guard.

Three people were rescued from the 68-foot commercial fishing vessel by Coast Guard crews on Friday morning, but one person was not found, the USCG Pacific Northwest said.

The boatcrews and an aircrew from Astoria, U.S. Oregon state, are actively searching for one remaining individual, it added.

The identities of those on the fishing vessel are not yet known.
