NEW YORK, April 15 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended lower on Tuesday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 155.83 points, or 0.38 percent, to 40,368.96. The S&P 500 sank 9.34 points, or 0.17 percent, to 5,396.63. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 8.32 points, or 0.05 percent, to 16,823.17.
