Brunei develops guideline for AI governance, ethics

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Brunei has developed a guide on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance and Ethics to shape a digitally inclusive future and to encourage more responsible and ethical development of AI.

Brunei's Authority for Infocommunication Technology recently stated that principles within the guide aligned with regional standards, such as the Southeast Asian Guide on AI Governance and Ethics, providing opportunities to enable responsible interoperability of AI systems regionally, as well as enhancing credibility of organizations and improving consumer confidence in the use of AI systems and tools.
