Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched up on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery added 27 cents, or 0.39 percent, to settle at 69.92 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery went up 24 cents, or 0.33 percent, to settle at 74.03 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
