Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices rose on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery added 1.11 U.S. dollars, or 1.57 percent, to settle at 71.85 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery increased 62 cents, or 0.82 percent, to settle at 75.84 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
