Belarus foreign trade grows 5.1 pct in 2024

MINSK, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian foreign trade in goods and services exceeded 100 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, an increase of 5.1 percent compared to 2023, the country's central bank said on Monday.

Belarusian exports of goods and services amounted to 49.4 billion dollars, rising 3.5 percent compared to 2023, including exports of goods growth by 1.2 percent to 39.5 billion dollars, and exports of services growth by 14 percent to 9.9 billion dollars, the bank said.

The country's imports of goods and services amounted to 50.7 billion dollars, including imports of goods at 44.2 billion dollars and imports of services at 6.5 billion dollars.

The balance of foreign trade in goods and services was negative 1.3 billion dollars in 2024, the bank said.
