Former Peru national team captain Guerrero confesses retirement is near


LIMA, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Former Peru national team captain Paolo Guerrero said Monday that he is likely to retire from professional football at the end of the current season.

The 41-year-old is tied to Peruvian top-flight side Alianza Lima until December and he has all but ruled out the possibility of a contract extension.
