Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for February delivery decreased 1.99 U.S. dollars, or 2.56 percent, to settle at 75.89 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for March delivery lost 86 cents, or 1.07 percent, to settle at 79.29 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
