GAZA -- The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has surpassed 43,000, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement on Monday.

TEHRAN -- An Iranian civilian has been confirmed dead following Israel's airstrikes near Tehran early Saturday, bringing the total death toll to five, Iran's official news agency IRNA reported.

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli parliament, the Knesset, on Monday passed a law prohibiting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) from operating in Israel.
