SAN FRANCISCO, June 24, (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Delta Airlines jets encountered four major incidents within 48 hours last week, including two flights bound for San Francisco, according to a San Francisco Chronicle report on Monday.

Flight DL475 from Boston to San Francisco reversed course mid-flight when one engine failed during takeoff on Thursday, it said, adding that the Airbus A321-200N crew safely returned to Boston Logan International Airport approximately 20 minutes after departure. The aircraft has been in service since October 2022 and remained grounded in Boston as of Monday morning.
