About 50 people injured in road accident in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, June 19 (Xinhua) -- About 50 people were injured when a privately owned bus and a school bus collided in Ranala, about 20 km from Colombo, on Wednesday, police said in a statement.

Meanwhile, local media reported that about 30 students were injured in the accident. Police said that there were no critical injuries, and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
