Malaysia's wholesale and retail trade reach all time high in March

KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia's wholesale and retail trade reached an all-time high of 145.7 billion ringgit (30.72 billion U.S. dollars) in March, grew 5.2 percent year on year, official data showed Thursday.

The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in a statement that the increase was mainly driven by retail trade sub-sector, which rose 7.1 percent to 62.8 billion ringgit.
