Cotton futures close lower


ZHENGZHOU, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Cotton futures closed lower Thursday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE).

The most active cotton contract for September 2024 delivery lost 345 yuan (about 48.57 U.S. dollars) to close at 15,310 yuan per tonne.
