Boeing 737-800 evacuated after flat tire on landing in southern Türkiye


ANKARA, May 9 (Xinhua) -- A Corendon Airlines's Boeing 737-800 flying from Cologne, Germany, to Antalya, Türkiye, was evacuated on Thursday after experiencing a flat tire and damage to its front strut upon landing at Gazipasa Airport, according to the country's Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.

The ministry said in a statement that all 190 people on board the jet airliner were safely evacuated following the emergency, which occurred around 11:00 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).
