U.S. dollar ticks down


NEW YORK, April 17 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar weakened in late trading on Wednesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, lost 0.29 percent to 105.952 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
