1st LD: Multiple injured after semitrailer rams into public safety office in U.S. Texas

HOUSTON, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Multiple people were seriously injured after a semitrailer rammed into a public safety office on Friday in a rural town about 75 miles away from Houston, the largest city in the U.S. state of Texas, authorities said.

Texas Department of Public Safety said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that it happened at its office in Brenham, west of Houston.

A suspect is in custody after the crash, local media reported.
