RABAT, March 18 (Xinhua) -- The French Development Agency on Monday granted Morocco 134.7 million euros (about 146 million U.S. dollars) in loan to finance the North African country's education reforms.

The loan agreement was inked Monday in Rabat by the Moroccan Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Faouzi Lekjaa, and the French Ambassador to Morocco, Christophe Lecourtier.

The financing will help implement Morocco's national education system reform roadmap 2022-2026, which aims to improve the sector's overall performance, including reducing the dropout rate and improving the quality of learning.
