Tanzania moves to implement new projects to bolster economic growth


DODOMA, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Tanzanian authorities said on Monday that plans are underway to implement new projects in the 2024/2025 financial year that will accelerate economic growth, reduce poverty and increase government income, especially foreign currency.

Kitila Mkumbo, minister of state in the President's Office responsible for planning and investment, said the implementation of the new projects has been outlined in the Third Five-Year National Development Plan, which spans 2021/2022 to 2025/2026.
