WTI crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, March 7 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices dipped on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for April delivery lost 20 cents, or 0.25 percent, to settle at 78.93 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery closed flat and settled at 82.96 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
