U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar weakened in late trading on Monday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, lost 0.03 percent to 103.832 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
