4 killed, 21 injured in mini-bus accident in NW Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and 21 others injured Tuesday morning after their mini-bus overturned on a slippery slope in the Kagera region in northwestern Tanzania, said police.

The Kagera regional police commander Blasius Chatanda said the driver of the mini-bus failed to control it as he descended on the slippery slope in Katoro village in Bukoba district.

Chatanda said the accident occurred at 11:30 a.m., local time, as the mini-bus was heading to the Bukoba municipality.
