5.0-magnitude quake hits 108 km west of Panguna, Papua New Guinea: USGS

HONG KONG, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 108 km west of Panguna, Papua New Guinea at 1612 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 6.23 degrees south latitude and 154.51 degrees east longitude.
