U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell in late trading on Tuesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, dropped 1.49 percent to 104.053 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
