Number of Russians travelling abroad up 50 pct in first nine months


MOSCOW, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Russian tourists made 7.06 million trips abroad in the first nine months of 2023, a 50.2 percent increase in comparison to the same period last year, the Russian Tourist Industry Union said Tuesday.

"Russians took 7.06 million tourism trips abroad from January to September," the tourist industry union said, citing figures from the border service of the Russian Federal Security Service.
