ATHENS, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde on Wednesday hailed the Greek economy's return to health after overcoming multiple challenges since the previous decade.
While addressing a dinner hosted at the Central Bank of Greece (BoG) on the occasion of the external ECB Governing Council monetary policy meeting in Athens, Lagarde recalled the debt crisis in 2009, the entailing fiscal adjustment and structural reforms in Greece, and the pandemic impact to economic recovery.
