BEIJING, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Jannik Sinner of Italy claimed the China Open title after he won two tie-breaks to beat Daniil Medvedev of Russia in the men's singles final here on Wednesday.
Both players held their service games throughout the match, but the sixth seeded Italian was unstoppable in the tie-breaks, winning out 7-6 (2), 7-6 (2).
