WTI crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices settled lower on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery lost 1.97 U.S. dollar to settle at 88.82 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
