WTI crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for July delivery dropped 1.24 U.S. dollars to settle at 71.29 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
