WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices gained on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for July delivery increased 2.01 dollars to settle at 70.1 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
