WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices gained on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for July delivery increased 86 cents to settle at 72.91 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
